How do I know if this is a good fit?

I offer a free 15 minute phone consultation for those seeking services. During this call, you can learn more about the therapeutic process, ask any question you may have, and learn more about my approach to counseling.

What can I expect from my first session?

I will send all paperwork via email and it will need to be completed prior to your first session. This allows us to spend the entire first session focusing on your individual needs and expectations for therapy rather than completing paperwork.

How long will I (or my child) be in counseling?

The healing process is different for every person. The number of sessions depends on the identified needs, the clients motivation to change, and the clients commitment to therapy.

How long does it take to get an appointment?

I try to get people in as quickly as possible. Due to the current mental health needs, it is possible you will placed on a waiting list. If you are placed on a waiting list, I will be able to give you an estimated wait time via email.

How does payment work?

Sessions are $160/hour. You may pay with cash, check, or credit card. You are responsible for ensuring full payment of services at the time of the appointment. A credit card will be kept on file to ensure prompt payment.

Where are you located?

My office is located at 2522 Valleydale Road, Suite 300 in Hoover, Alabama. When you come in the main building, I am the first door on the left. Come right in and make yourself at home with a coffee, tea, or snack. I’ll come out to get you when it is time for your appointment.
